Reading Order

Where to start? You can start reading Christie’s standalone books first if they stand out to you, or you can dive into her first universe, Mesa Boys. Most of Christie’s books feature young adult characters (except for the vampires, of course!) and so the same themes are common – young men healing from trauma, coming out, family ties, all the things that go along with first times and discovering your true self.

Mesa Boys – the Series

Start this series from the beginning, or start it with one or more of the supplemental standalone reads.

The Swarm (Free Read only available with newsletter sign-up)
Not Alone
Loose Strings (Also a part of The Road to Rocktoberfest Series)

The Dark Standalones

These two books both take place along the California coast and are my darkest books, each one dealing with addiction, very broken men and toxic relationships. You’ve been warned:)

 The Obsession
Secrets (currently unavailable, but I’m working on it!)

The “Historical” Standalones

I’m listing these by time period (oldest to newest), because they span different places and times and the themes include how young gay love flourished in those times in history.

A Summer Without Rain (Ireland, 1920)
Find Me in July Prequel (see below and Free Read only available with newsletter sign-up)
Find Me in July (Minnesota, 1978)

In Life and Blood – the Vampire Trilogy

These books take place in Northern California, in present day and are novellas. I love Anne Rice. Enough said:)

Hanging in the Balance
Holding on to the Past
