Dana Summers likes his current life. He’s finally become the bakery manager at the local grocery store, and he’s healed from a relationship that nearly wrecked him with a man who gaslighted him. Hanging out with friends at the local skatepark is just icing on the proverbial cake, one he’s poured his heart and soul into.

Nate Walker should be living the dream after winning a small fortune in the lottery. But when his family and friends abuse the situation and scam him, he runs. While travelling the world to find himself, he experiences a bi awakening. Then he ends up in Dana’s bakery with this newfound acceptance, captivated by the attractive baker.

Dana recognizes the hurt and loneliness in Nate and comes to Nate’s rescue after the manager tries to kick him out for being a vagrant. He tempts Nate with delicious treats and in the process, they start dating. But Nate’s hesitant to disclose too much about himself, fearing the money could ruin everything. Dana is wary of another man who might gaslight him. How can Nate find a way to trust Dana with his biggest secret and find a safe place to call home?

Catching His Name is the fourth novel in the Mesa Boys series. It is a secret millionaire, hurt/comfort romance with an HEA and no cliffhangers. It features a kind-hearted skater with a motorcycle and a passion for baking, and a hot mess of a man who’s in the process of reinventing himself. Each book features a different couple and can be read as a standalone or as part of the series in order.

Trigger Warning: This book deals with a parent in recovery and one who has died.

Reviews:

“I loved Nate and Dana! Dana is such a sweetheart and just a wonderful person…Their love story is very sweet, hot and pretty low angst. I loved the ending and how the author brought everything/everyone together. This has been a great series and I’m looking forward to Jaime’s book.”

“Catching His Name by Christie Gordon was a delectable read. I devoured this in one sitting, everything was really well written and the characters were exceptional. The attention to detail was fantastic and much appreciated. I love when a character is a baker and there was so many baked goods featured in this story; quiches, donuts, mousse.. apple pie. All of which made me want to go bake something…I highly recommend reading this, be prepared for cravings though! You’ll be wanting doughnuts, mousse, and quiches by the time you’re done reading this.”

“Dana and Nate bring the first-times, secret millionaire, bi-awakening, shmexy custard consumption and they bring it hot, heavy and sugar sweet. While you don’t have to read the books that came before this story, I think it’ll give readers a more well-rounded understanding of Dana and the other Mesa boys. There is so much more I want to say about Nate and Dana, but word limits and not wanting to ruin the fun for anyone else has me cutting myself off now. Ok. With one more word. Custard. CUSTARD. *Whew*!”
