A closeted virgin joins a pop-punk band to break out of his shell. When he meets the man of his dreams, can they find love or will family destroy it all?
Devin
Raised a strict Mormon, my attraction to men, make-up, and women’s clothing was something I kept hidden.
Now that I’m in college, I’m determined to break free from my faith, my family, and my virginity. Even though it’ll break my mom’s heart.
I’m hoping that working at a queer bakery and taking the stage as the front man of a popular pop-punk band will help.
And maybe the tall, dark and ridiculously attractive man who keeps coming into the bakery will lead the way.
Brandon
I’m finally willing to face the fact that I have a type—a type of guy.
That guy is Devin.
When he lets me into his life, he’s a whirlwind of temptation and I have a wealth of experience.
How can I take this slow and show him how to unlock his deepest desires?
As I watch Devin transform into the person he’s meant to be, it’s clear he’s conflicted. Can I protect him from a family who threatens to tear us apart?

“I was so looking forward to the new series that is a spin off from the Mesa Boys and what an amazing series this is going to be!
The author touched all the bases of a bi-awakening with gender fluid in Devin where he was trying to find his true self and acceptance and he sure got that with Brandon!
It was so sweet how awkward they both were in the beginning trying to figure themselves out until they started trusting each other and becoming close while discovering each other’s kinks and quirks with wild abandon!
I loved the support and advice they received from their found family who are a few of our Mesa boys sigh…. and Devin’s band mates , when the truth of Devin’s sexuality is revealed to his Mormon parents in the most shocking way!”
I loved that Devin was able to recognize that he, especially after being drawn in by Brandon, had so many amazing and wonderful opportunities to become the person he felt he needed to be. These two main characters, and most of the supporting ones, show healthy forms of friendship and belonging, which make the love shown even more remarkable.”
