Carter is curious and Tanner is more than willing.

Tanner is an assistant manager at a local grocery store, an avid skateboarder and a guitar player for a cover band. He has his eye set on his younger roommate and coworker, Carter. There’s only one problem. Carter doesn’t like guys…or does he? After a drunken evening at their quirky local bar, Carter makes a move and Tanner is happy he does. 

This short story is part of the Mesa Boys series and takes place before the first book. It is the story of Tanner and Carter’s initial hookup and does include a steamy scene. You also get to meet the other young men of the skateboarding crew, Dana and Jaime. 

Mesa Boys follows a group of not-so-straight friends, held together by a love of skateboarding, a certain quirky bar in Mesa, Arizona and a female bartender who enjoys pairing them up and watching them get their HEA. Each book in the series follows a different couple while they navigate roommates turned lovers, second chances, coworker romances, a secret millionaire and enemies turned lovers.
